Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles under direct supervision during training period
- Master pre-trip inspections, securement protocols, and DOT compliance procedures
- Develop proficiency in route navigation and delivery scheduling systems
- Practice defensive driving techniques in diverse weather and traffic conditions
- Learn customer interaction protocols and delivery verification procedures
- Complete all required training modules and obtain Class A CDL license
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company operational policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to obtain CDL-A license through company-sponsored training
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and route planning
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first principles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
