Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across the state of Texas and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying weight distribution and proper securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and all necessary documentation in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and pass a background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and adhere to a drug-free workplace policy.
