Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Texas
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance needs and vehicle performance issues
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- TWIC card or willingness to obtain
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips (home time guaranteed)
