Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork for cargo, delivery, and vehicle status.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Navigate delivery routes in the Tampa area efficiently, accounting for traffic and weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety protocols.
- Must possess a clean driving record and valid commercial insurance.
