Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling protocols
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions while meeting delivery deadlines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Uphold all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Flexibility for early starts, nights, and occasional weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with ELD technology
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
