Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Pennsylvania and New York
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
