Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks or tractor-trailers) for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain vehicle logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle hazardous materials shipments when certified
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Florida roadways and delivery zones
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
