Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) following FMCSA regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across Los Angeles County
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all DOT safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with ELD devices and route planning apps
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
