Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure cargo is secured and within legal weight limits.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering freight.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B).
- Willingness to obtain CDL if not currently held (Training available).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and scales.
