Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Accurately complete electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable accidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Previous tanker or refrigerated trailer experience preferred
