Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery across TX, LA, FL
- Maintain electronic logs and communicate with dispatch
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements (AHA certified preferred)
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- HAZMAT endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Texas residency required for home daily routes
