Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Represent the company with professionalism while maintaining clean driving records
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/Regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, HOS, and cargo securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic loading equipment
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
