Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs if necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
