Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Indiana roadways and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights/month)
