Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Maintain DOT compliance logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight
- Represent company brand with professional conduct
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Chicago metro area traffic patterns
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong customer service orientation
