Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Indiana roadways and regional logistics
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules as needed
- Must pass comprehensive background check
