Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on time and within the designated route parameters.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork, ensuring full legal compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading, unloading, and delivery processes.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding any delays or operational changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred, but Entry-Level candidates with clean MVRs are encouraged to apply.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo up to 50 lbs when necessary.
