Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) across Illinois and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Handle freight documentation and secure cargo
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Uphold company safety standards and zero-accident policy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight travel (4-5 nights/week)
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and time-management skills
