Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to dynamic routes and traffic conditions in metropolitan areas
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Washington DC metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
