Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain professional customer relationships
- Operate in all weather conditions while prioritizing road safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
