Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport freight on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
