Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A & B) in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Complete accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and ensure strict compliance with Hours of Service (HOS).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and protection of goods.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professional conduct.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
