Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Illinois
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading procedures
- Resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Chicago metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong time management and communication skills
