Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) throughout California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining optimal schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be 21+ years old with proof of legal residency
