Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs per FMCSA regulations
- Plan optimal routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate with dispatch team to provide real-time updates and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight travel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
