Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across designated regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance records
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and delivery scheduling
- Implement defensive driving techniques and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and real-time communication
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts as needed
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
