Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and Washington state traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of Washington state roadways and weather conditions
