Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs and inspection reports
- Load/unload freight with precision using provided equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for seamless operations
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
