Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) following FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance issues
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Secure and verify cargo according to DOT standards and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Knowledge of Texas/Mexico border crossing procedures (if applicable)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Strong safety record with zero preventable accidents in last 12 months
