Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules, documentation, and customer communications
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Operate in all weather conditions while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Report maintenance issues and participate in vehicle upkeep programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and irregular schedules
