Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Deliver time-sensitive freight while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including HOS regulations and cargo securement
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery updates
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for precise loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation tools
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Oregon traffic laws
- Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills in diverse weather conditions
