Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers in the Seattle metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (dollys, straps) while maintaining product integrity.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs (ELD compliant).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculations and cash handling.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
