Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within San Jose and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Jose and Bay Area roadways
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
