Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes within San Francisco Bay Area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and secure cargo handling procedures
- Document and report any maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
