Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and compliance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals across San Francisco and Bay Area
- Load/unload freight with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete all required training and certification updates annually
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
