Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times to minimize risk and ensure cargo integrity.
- Load and unload freight securely, using proper handling techniques.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
