Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight within San Diego County and Southern California
- Adhere to DOT regulations, pre/post-trip inspections, and strict safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions or delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility for early morning shifts and occasional overnight routes
