Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all federal and state regulations, including FMCSA requirements.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to strict schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
