Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van) on regional routes within Tennessee and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations, HOS requirements, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Tanker or HazMat endorsement preferred
