Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over various routes within the region.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records compliant with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure the security and cleanliness of the cargo and cab.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
