Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat placarding (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Arizona/Mexico border crossing procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed transport a plus
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
