Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to transport goods on regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery coordination
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery processes
- Assist in securing cargo and verifying inventory upon delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
