Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) delivering freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete delivery documentation and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts
