Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (HOS) and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a professional demeanor while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check) and be insurable.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina required to perform duties such as loading/unloading and driving long distances.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US work authorization.
