Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Devices (ELD), in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, dispatchers, and the public.
- Adhere to strict safety standards to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
