Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and security of merchandise.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties.
