Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver goods to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety systems and cargo areas are secure.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork, logbooks, and timesheets in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and customers, ensuring a positive experience during every delivery.
- Load Management: Secure cargo properly and handle freight with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Medical Card: Current DOT medical card and DOT physical on file.
- Equipment: Ability to operate standard and automatic transmissions.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
