Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate digital logbooks and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained during shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record and acceptable background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends.
