Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with all traffic laws and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring items are secure and protected.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and inspection reports.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of road safety and cargo handling best practices.
