Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, courteous, and legal manner at all times.
- Route Management: Follow delivery routes and schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals.
- Vehicle Care: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load Handling: Secure cargo properly and assist with loading/unloading operations as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and vehicle inspections.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and resolve delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of driving experience preferred (New grads considered).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
